February Update <3

Wow- it's absolutely crazy to think that another month of 2017 has flown by, and we are already half way through Term One of this year! I thank each and every one of my students for working so hard over the last few weeks. Keep up the great work!! Also a belated Happy Valentine's Day for all those who celebrated with those who are special to them. This year I got to spend my day teaching something I love doing with those who are enjoying learning.

So what is there to report? Well at this stage due to being so early in the year, no students have yet to compete or sit examinations, however preparation for the upcoming Ipswich Eisteddfod are now in full swing. I remind all students wishing to compete in one of our local competitions in the area, please be aware that entries close as of the 18th March 2017 (only 2 weeks away!!), with entries only being accepted online via CompsOnline.

I also welcome the following students who have started lessons this month- Georgia, Davin, Ashleigh & Zara!! So excited to be teaching you all and can't wait to see how you improve and achieve your goals this year.

As some of the younger students are coming to lessons with some extra support when mum or

dad aren't able to come with them. There have been so many from Twinkle & Sparkle colourful cats, to Peppi the raggedy dog to even the beautiful Belle. Becoming more independent is a great aspect for students, and seeing them become more confident in their music is very much an eye opening experience- a part of my work I enjoy very much. I love seeing our new friends come along and support their special friends!

Exciting to see we are already in March, but cannot wait for new adventures during the end of our first term. Wait for our March update in the next couple of weeks!!
